+1,000,000 New Rooms in the Kreo Dataset

We have great news for our current and future users! At Kreo Software, we are constantly improving our AI algorithms to make the process of measuring construction objects faster and more accurate.

Our technology includes several powerful models, such as:

The first version of Auto Measure will soon be archived and remain available only for existing users, while the updated Auto Measure 2.0 has become significantly more precise and intelligent thanks to our latest advancements.

Today, we are excited to share an important update that directly impacts the quality of automatic measurements. We have significantly expanded our dataset – the foundation on which the Kreo Software AI is trained.

What does this mean for you? Let’s dive in.

What is a dataset and why is it important?

In the world of artificial intelligence, a dataset is the foundation that determines the accuracy and efficiency of neural networks. The larger and more diverse the data a model receives, the better it performs its tasks.

At Kreo Software, our dataset is not just a collection of files but a structured repository of construction data, enabling highly accurate automated measurements.

What does the Kreo Software dataset include?

To make our neural networks as adaptable as possible to real construction tasks, we train them on various data sources, including:

  1. Building plans and drawings – PDFs, DWGs, and images with different design styles.
  2. Object annotations – room boundaries, walls, windows, doors, scales, and building floors.
  3. Additional construction data – integration with regulations and specific building category requirements.

Why is this important?

The more data the dataset contains, the more precise Kreo Software's measurements become. With the continuous expansion of data:

  1. The system adapts faster to different drawing styles.
  2. Recognition of complex plans becomes more accurate.
  3. Errors in measurements are reduced.
  4. Calculations become more reliable even for complex and unconventional drawings.

Our dataset is continuously growing, and much of this is thanks to our users, who contribute data and help make Kreo smarter and more efficient.

How does Auto Measure 2.0 work?

Auto Measure 2.0 is a powerful AI model that analyzes drawings and automatically detects room boundaries, walls, windows, doors, and other elements using a combination of computer vision and text processing. This means the system doesn’t just "see" lines on a plan but also understands them in the context of architectural designations.

How Auto Measure work?

How does the measurement process work?

  1. You enter a request – for example, you want to know the area of a kitchen, bathroom, or specific flooring (laminate, tiles, carpet, etc.).
  2. AI analyzes the drawing in real time – instantly matching your request to the building plan, automatically recognizing room boundaries, walls, windows, doors, and other architectural elements.
  3. The dataset is activated – the algorithm accesses a trained neural network, which has learned from millions of real drawings to improve recognition accuracy.
  4. AI instantly provides results – highlighting the required areas in the drawing and indicating confidence levels, allowing immediate decision-making without waiting for processing.

What has changed in Auto Measure 2.0?

  1. Deep text analysis – the system now considers text labels, significantly improving measurement accuracy.
  2. Real-time processing – measurements happen instantly, eliminating delays in drawing analysis.
  3. Minimal manual adjustments – the system has been trained on real data, reducing errors.

Why does this matter?

Traditional measurement methods required manual effort and time. Auto Measure 2.0 makes the process automatic, fast, and accurate, enabling users to:

  1. Reduce measurement time significantly.
  2. Minimize human errors.
  3. Work in real-time and get instant results.
  4. Quickly process large projects without extra costs.

We've added 1,000,000 new rooms to the dataset!

The newly added data includes rooms of various types and configurations, allowing the system to better adapt to real projects and accurately define boundaries in drawings.

We are pleased to announce that our dataset has significantly expanded – now it contains 1,000,000 additional rooms! This means Auto Measure 2.0 has been trained on even more diverse data, increasing its accuracy and processing speed.

What improvements are now available to you?

  1. Higher accuracy in room recognition. AI now better understands different drawing styles, including non-standard and complex layouts.
  2. Faster processing. Auto Measure 2.0 operates in real-time, instantly analyzing new drawings.
  3. Fewer manual corrections. More data means more accurate AI, reducing the need for manual adjustments.
  4. Support for complex layouts. New data includes various building types – residential, commercial, industrial – making the system more adaptable.
  5. Optimized performance for large-scale projects. Even the largest drawings are now processed faster and with greater precision.

Adding 1,000,000 new rooms to the dataset is a major leap forward in measurement automation. Now, Kreo Software users can expect an even more accurate, faster, and reliable performance from Auto Measure 2.0!
