NOVEC™

Definition

NOVEC™ is a fire suppressant that works at low volume compared to inert gas systems. It has advantages of no venting requirements and being environmentally friendly, surpassing the FM-200™ standard. NOVEC™ has an atmospheric lifetime of 5 days, eliminating ozone depletion.

Purpose

NOVEC™ is used in fire suppression systems to quickly extinguish fires with minimal environmental impact. It is designed for applications where space is limited and where traditional suppression systems may not be feasible.
